ON ARRIVAL

Please can all visitors report to the Visitor Reception in the stableyard on arrival, to purchase entry tickets, to validate any online bookings, and to book on to any tours.

HOUSE TOURS

House tours are available each day at 11am. The spaces for these are limited and are available on a first come, first served basis on the day - they cannot be pre-booked. Visitors should sign up to a tour at Visitor Reception, before going to the house.

GARDEN HISTORY TOURS

Garden history tours are available on the first Wednesday and Thursday of the month (April - September). These are free to house or garden ticket holders, and follow on straight after the house tour.  Spaces for these are limited and are available on a first come, first served basis on the day - they cannot be pre-booked. Visitors are invited to sign up for a tour at Visitor Reception. 

ADMISSION

All full price tickets are annual passes which grant the holder access to the hall and gardens, whenever they are open for 12 months from the date of purchase (not valid at special events). 

OFFER SCHEMES

Historic Houses members, and Gardener’s World/CPRE 2-for-1 are welcome. All these offer cards can be used when purchasing tickets online or in person. Please bring your HH card / 2-for-1 Card on the day of your visit to validate your booking. When making a 2-for-1 booking online please select one full price ticket and one free ticket. Please note:  

• The cards are not transferable, and there is no single admission discount on the 2-for-1 cards. 
• Any tickets purchased using one of these offers do not qualify for an annual pass.
• Offer schemes cannot be used for event entry or group visit bookings.

TICKET BOOKING

Tickets can be purchased online here. Please note, the online booking system closes 24 hours ahead so online tickets cannot be purchased on the day of your visit.  However, we welcome visitors to turn up to buy tickets on the day.  On arrival, all visitors should check in at Visitor Reception (in the stable yard), whether or not you have prebooked a ticket. This includes HH members as your membership cards need to be scanned in order to validate your ticket. 

Facilities

There are toilets and a cafe onsite. Please refer to the cafe page for more information. Picnics are welcome in the stable courtyard picnic area but are regretfully not allowed in the main gardens. 

Dogs are welcome on leads in the gardens and grounds.
