Opera company presents a classic accessible twist on Mozart’s classic wedding day!

On 1st September, Opera Kipling (OffFest Finalists 2024, OffFest Finalists 2023 and London Pub Theatre Awards Semi-Finalists 2023) will present their brand-new version of Mozart’s Opera, The Marriage of Figaro, in The Walled Garden, Lamport Hall, Northampton.


As Figaro and Susanna prepare to wed, a tangled web of secrets, mistaken identities, and forbidden desires threatens to upend their big day. Set amidst the winding halls and hidden passageways of a noble estate, the opera unfolds with dazzling arias, soaring ensembles, and brilliant comedic flair. Whether you're a devoted opera lover or a newcomer to the genre, join us for a night of
music, mischief, and matrimonial mayhem. This is the wedding of the year — and you’re invited.

Opera Kipling were formed in 2019, by young professionals to bring accessible up-close Opera to audiences across the UK. - Newly-produced for the Camden Fringe 2025, this high quality, accessible, production of The Marriage of Figaro is designed to appeal to opera novices and veterans alike. - It importantly also gives chances to emerging artists to add important roles to their repertoire.


- The show is family friendly however we suggest a viewing age of 12+

- Sung in Italian, with comic subtitles in English.
