Heritage Open Days
Saturday 13th September, 10am-4pm
Lamport Hall will be opening entirely for free as part of Heritage Open Days. Come along to Lamport on the 13th of September between 10am and 4pm to enjoy a special day especially for Heritage Open Days.
Brewer's Yard will, for the first time, be returned to its original use with costumed guides demonstrating the kinds of jobs and tasks which would have been undertaken in the service yard during the Victorian period. Explore the laundry rooms, dairy and other buildings as they are brought back to life for one day only!
The gardens will also be open to explore with interpretation relating to the architecture of the building. There will be garden history tours as well as traditional craft demonstrations and a large exhibition of art from local artists.
Our Stables Café will be providing hot and cold drinks, light lunches and homemade cakes and our gift shop will be open selling wonderful items with a gardening, wildlife or countryside theme.
