ANTIQUES & COLLECTOR'S FAIR

Browse at your leisure through a wide variety of quality antiques, furntiture, porcelain, collectables, jewellery, books, pictures and many other specialist items.  Relax with a drink and a bite to eat or enjoy one of our free special interest talks on a range of antique related topics.

The Antiques & Collector's Fair is now being organised by Antiques 2 Go who run a weekly Antiques Flea Market in Towcester and a local auction in Roade, Northamptonshire.  This year's fairs will see lots of new stalls as well as many old favourites.  With bargains available to suit every pocket - there is something for everyone this Easter.  Free car parking and free programme.

TWENTY-FIRST LAMPORT STEAM AND COUNTRY FESTIVAL

This event is set in the parkland of Lamport Hall and is run by the Lamport Hall Preservation Trust, in conjunction with the Hannington Vintage Tractor Club.

A fantastic day out for all the family - something for everyone!

Exhibits on display will include vintage tractors, agricultural implements, stationary engines, period caravans, organs, steam engines, working exhibits, classic cars and motorcycles.  Traditional crafts being demonstrated include spa making, net making, hurdle making and Windsor chair making.

There will be plenty to keep children entertained.  The Kelmarsh Young Farmers are kindly organising free tractor rides around the showground.  Plus there will be a steam galloper roundabout, giant inflatables, quad bikes and free Punch and Judy shows throughout both days.

Main Arena attractions will include falconry, sheep dog and ducks, a German Shepherd dog display team and a parade by the Pytchley Hunt hounds on both Sunday and Monday.  A working arena will carry out various demonstrations.

Craft stalls and trade stalls will be selling a variety of items including jewellery, greeting cards, wooden toys , bags, baby ware, handmade chocolates and fudge, knitwear, walking sticks and wood turned items.

On Monday there is also a dog show, for anyone to enter, entery per class £1.  All proceeds going to Guide Dogs for the Blind.  Classes are:

  3. Most Handsome Dog
  4. Junior Handling 11 Years & Under
  5. Junior Handling 12-16 Years
  6. Waggliest Tail/ Rump
  7. Dog Most Like Its Owner

  9. Best Condition
  10. Dog Judge Would Most Like To Take Home
  11. Best &  Reserve Best In Show

Rosettes and goody bags for 1st to 5th places.

Free entry to the Farm Museum and plenty of free car parking.  Refreshments available all day.

Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th

GALA EVENING AND SHOPPING DAY in aid of HOME START SOUTH LEICESTERSHIRE

Held in the stable yard and a marquee this fabulous shopping event is being held to raise money for the charity Home Start. 

Exclusive companies from across the country are coming together under one roof.  Clothing, shoes, handbags and jewellery through to books, home accessories, children's clothes and gifts and unusual foods will all be for sale. 

The one stop ahop for all your requirements.  Many of these companies you will not find on the high street.

Tickets for our Gala Evening are being sold now and for just £15 (evening tickets allow free entrance to nect day's event) you can attend our exclusive evening preview from 6.30-9.00pm.  Drinks and canapes will be served and you will have the opportunity to buy a ticket or two, to win a fabulous holiday for two somewhere gloriously hot and sunny!  This prize will be drawn and won by someone on that night.

The following day, Thursday 12th June, is a lovely shopping day.  Relax all day knowing all the shops are open.  You can get a coffee or even lunch at our in-house restaurant.  Bring your friends, you can pay on the door and the entrance fee is just £5.

Ragdale Hall Health Spa will be there offering free treatments and information and all our fabulous stalls will be open from 10am until 4pm.

Get some friends together, take the day off work and come and shop, relax and have some time to yourself.
